Our parent resources are designed to be useful, understandable and responsible. They are educational and do not diagnose, treat or replace individualized professional advice.

Publication requirements

Before publication, an article must have a clear audience and purpose, an original practical explanation, source links, a search description, an age band, an author, and a named reviewer with relevant credentials. Child-development or health-adjacent claims require qualified review.

Sources and updates

We prefer current primary or authoritative sources, including professional associations and public-health agencies. Published resources receive a visible review date and enter the Site Operations freshness queue when that date becomes stale.

Corrections

Material corrections update the article modification date and trigger another review. Outdated or unsupported content is revised, unpublished or retired. Promotional considerations do not override safety or editorial judgment.

AI assistance

Automated tools may assist with outlines, readability or production. They do not replace source checking, editorial judgment or qualified review. No automatically generated child-development article is published without human approval.

Product boundaries

TalkDelay records learning moments, not diagnostic scores. The optional parent-consented speech assessment processes the current prompted attempt through Microsoft Azure; TalkDelay does not retain its audio or use provider scores to unlock levels. It is practice feedback, not a clinical assessment.
